Welcome to Sela. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sela — Bible Chat mobile application ("Sela", the "App"). By installing or using Sela, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
By downloading, installing, or using Sela, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Sela on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicence the App.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase for the weekly plan, or at the end of the monthly plan's free trial if not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for any unused portion of a subscription period, except where required by law.

The App, its branding, artwork, audio narrations, and content (excluding messages you submit) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of the messages you write; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to provide the AI features you request.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or AU$50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of the page indicates when the Terms were last updated. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
